This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes activities that are prohibited on the Konfirm, Inc. (“Konfirm”) platform. It supplements our Terms of Service and WhatsApp Use Policy. Violations may result in suspension or termination.
Use the Service as intended
Konfirm is built for transactional, customer-care messaging — most commonly confirming cash-on-delivery orders a customer has already placed. You must have a lawful basis to contact each recipient and must comply with applicable messaging, privacy, and consumer-protection laws.
Prohibited content & conduct
You may not use the Service to:
- Send unsolicited bulk marketing, spam, or messages recipients have not agreed to receive.
- Ignore or fail to honor opt-out and do-not-contact requests.
- Message purchased, scraped, or otherwise improperly obtained contact lists.
- Send unlawful, deceptive, fraudulent, or misleading content, including phishing or scams.
- Transmit harassing, threatening, hateful, or obscene material.
- Promote illegal goods or services, or content prohibited by the underlying messaging provider.
- Impersonate another person, business, or brand.
- Infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights.
Respect platform & system integrity
- Do not attempt to bypass sending limits, rate caps, cooldowns, or suppression lists.
- Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without authorization.
- Do not interfere with or disrupt the Service, its infrastructure, or other tenants.
- Do not attempt to access data belonging to another organization.
- Do not reverse engineer or resell the Service except as expressly permitted.
Consent & opt-out
You are responsible for obtaining and recording any consent required to message your customers and for promptly honoring opt-out requests. Konfirm provides suppression and do-not-contact tooling, but the underlying obligation to message only willing recipients rests with you.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take action including warning, throttling, suspending, or terminating accounts, and removing offending content. Where we reasonably believe conduct is unlawful or poses risk to recipients, other customers, or messaging providers, we may act without prior notice.
Reporting abuse
To report misuse of the Service, email support@konfirm.app or use our contact page.
